# Is there a way to extract metric data for monitoring the situation of Bifrost's validator or fullnode?

Hi team! thank you for quick support 🙂

I wonder if there is a way to extract metric data for monitoring the situation of Bifrost’s validator or fullnode such as prometheus.  
My node will be started on Wednesday so that I’d like to prepare node!

Our node is a substrate based node so that it means you can follow these steps provided from polkadot. You can setup your own custom monitoring service, such as collecting CPU usage, memory, or others.
